NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Regents Exams are statewide standardized tests in fundamental high school topics. To receive a Regents Diploma, students must complete these tests. If there are any questions, feel free to contact Mr. Hernandez for additional support.
Every year, all parents, teachers, students in grades 6-12 and select school support staff take the NYC School Survey. The survey helps school leaders understand what key members of their school community think about the learning environment at their school. The information captured by the survey is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make the school a better place to learn.
Families should enter “f” followed by their child’s nine-digit Student Identification (OSIS) Number to access the survey. Note that “f” must be lowercase. Families can find their child’s Student Identification Number on their report card, student ID card, or New York City Schools Account (NYCSA).
As we reopen high schools for in-person learning on March 22nd, keeping school buildings open depends upon awareness of and immediate action on any COVID-19 concerns in our buildings. To do this, we need students and staff in our buildings to get tested! That’s why we’re instituting mandatory random weekly testing in all reopened school buildings.
All DOE employees, students, families, and visitors seeking to enter DOE buildings must complete a health screening before entering DOE facilities. This health screening must be completed on each day of arrival and results will reset at midnight of each day. Upon entering the facility you will be asked to provide the results of your screening either by showing your phone or a printout of the results.
Remote learning instruction will begin on Wednesday, September 16th. Students who have opted for in-person learning will begin on Monday, September 21st. All Students attending school in person are expected to be in full uniform.
This fall, your child’s school plans to offer blended learning, a mix of in-person days at school and remote-learning days at home. The default for all students is to participate in their schools’ blended learning schedules.
